Bought them by chance here in Russia. Found them while surfing local equivalent of Craiglist
Quite rare R13. Were brand new. Being sold in town 60 miles from my place. So had to drive 120 miles to get them
Paid $200 per set of 4

White Letter Tires in 13 inch here in the USA have not been available for more than a decade. :x

I actually have those same tires on my Sunbird. They are 13 years old!!! LOL

Go on with assembling. Front end is more or less intact

Now working with interiors. More photos will be tomorrow

While taking off back plastic parts of front seats for painting my son found factory assembling sheet behind plastic back of passenger front seat. It is a little damaged but anyway

Slowly but moving forward. Too busy at work so lack of time for Buick.

Today finally went with Buick to muffler shop. Spent the whole day there. Now having new complete Magnaflow stainless steel exhaust.

How it was before - junk from bits and pieces

And some recent photos of my Buick but still hell of a lot to do.

Thank you Dick!

Here are my news

Now Buick is fully polished and assembled and I can say it is finished in its exterior part.
Now need to do some works on interiors and in under hood part.

One question. When I put on turn indicator left or right everything is fine, front and back lights are blinking both left and right as it should be but when I push brake they stop blinking and just lighting. Is it normal? Or if it is a fault where to search to fix it? Thank you in advance!

Here are recent past weekend photos

Alex that is a common condition with the "Hazard Flashers" [or 4 way flashers if you prefer] when the flasher is bad as the brake lights are supposed to stop the "4 Ways", I haven't seen that with the turn signals though. 1st then is check to see if the button is in the "Out" position [off] and try again. If that fixes it than you just need the proper flasher, if not this makes me think it is in the steering column's turn signal switch, I would check everything else I could find first, as that isn't an easy, fast or cheap job. I would look for any wires [bare] touching each other that shouldn't be, especially near the plug just under the dash on top of the column or the brake light switch not far away,. That is all that come to my mind for this but there are more than a few electrically gifted members here so, Stay Tuned! Harry

Alex, nice work on the Skyhawk. Paint look great. Is that an 8 Track deck in the dash? You don't see them anymore.

Thank you!
Painting and car polishing cost me $2000 all together with preparation costs, body works, paint, painting etc.
Yes this is 8 track. Automatic Radio brand. Properly working. Need to buy more 8 track cartridges)) Now just have one. Night at studio 54
Also bought adapters - from 8 track to compact cassettes and another one adapter as compact cassette with wire to plug it into phone.
Tried it both with compact cassette and phone. Everything is working.
Trying to make my Buick pure authentic 70's style.
For car shows bought also 70's Levis panatella light blue pants and Washington DeeCee striped big collar shirt to match with my car 70's style. :D
