Vha Vha Vega..

Postby bigair49 » Fri Aug 19, 2016 11:28 pm

Well here we go!
I've been looking for a fun project with minimal bodywork, mechanical work, electrical work,etc..and also not a fan of the same old same old :th: if you know what i mean. So I asked myself, What better than a Vega?
As luck would have it I found a nice local specimen less then 5 clicks away that fits the bill nicely. I couldn't resist I was like a kid in a candy store and had to have it . Push came to shove and things worked there way out and this beauty is in my driveway tonight.

I got the paper work done on the vega and will be going for my safety tomorrow. But in the mean time I have a ten day permit and went for a shake down run tonight and I must say I'm very impressed with this old girl! she ran like a champ I mean as good as a 4 banger can I guess. I had a riot driving around tonight she is a fun car!

I mostly drive trucks and vans so sitting in the Vega and driving between two super duty pick ups Is a real adventure. I'll need to get use to that I'm not used to looking at people's wheel wells ha ha.. Well I just getting ready to take her for a safety and hopefully have her officially on the road tonight... :th:
