Kinda lookin' for a little help from you guys if
possible. Using a b/w 5 speed in a track roadster project.
Need help identifying the trans year(s), application,
common designation. Running it behind a 153 Nova
4-banger. Can be seen at this
page:
<a href=http://www.geocities.com/sunsetstrip/theater/3168/chopper.htm target=new>http://www.geocities.com/sunsetstrip/theater/3168/chopper.htm</a>

Any help will greatly appreciated.
Chuck

Denis,
Thanks for the info. Exactly what I
needed to know. What engines were they used behind? Were
any of the bellhousings a match for the "normal"
Chevy
V-8 block bolt pattern? Trying to narrow in on my
bellhousing choices as there are a bunch of them out there.
The 153 has a V-8 bell housing pattern so that is a
plus.

Thanks again,

Chuck

Chuck,
they were available on v-8 in the
monza
so you`ll be able to find a bellhousing.
i`m
99% sure that it will bolt to a regular chevy
bellhousing a lakewood will work too
behind a V-8 they
were a bit weak but whit your 153 i think you`ll have
no problems

Denis,

Thanks again. Yes, I've got the trans bolted to a junk yard bellhousing right, but when spring comes I'm gonna have to go looking for better unit.
