Hi everybody I just joined the club and wanted to
introduce myself. I'm 45 yrs. old and can remember when
these cars were rolling off the line at the Lordstown
Ohio assembly plant. I live nearby and went there for
a tour with my high school shop class during the
1972 model year. I've always wanted to own one of
these little buggers but I've never had the money when
a nice one came along. For what it's worth I now
work at Summit Racing Equipment (sorry no discounts)
and I would be glad to lend a hand with advice and
parts availibilty info if anyone needs it.

As Dick mentioned, the GMHBODY club is by far
where most of the discussion takes place. There are
quite a few other Yahoo club sites for vega's and
monzas's etc. but this is the main site. Welcome, Clyde

I'm located in Alliance Ohio. That's close to
Canton Ohio (Pro Football Hall of Fame town). I drive
about 29 miles to get to work but it's worth it. I
don't know of anyone that works there that owns a nice
Vega or Monza V8. I don't but it's high on my "to do
before I die" list. My ideal would be to start with a
clean 71-73 hatch

Burnnie on the v8 hbody(in Yahoo)club there is a
72 hatchback for sale for $1000.oo.It is already set
up for V8 and comes with alot of extra parts to
include brand new wheeles.The car is in Hastings NE.If
you had a way to trailer it home(or haved it
shipped)this might be just what you are looking for.I was
thinking about getting the car for myself but I am going
thru a divorce and I don't trust my soon to be ex
wife.
