Hassle@parts?

A friend is struggling to put a Buick V6 in a 73
Vega. He absolutly needs AIR. The car came with it. He
does not think it can be done. I told him all the
other H bodies came with V6's and you could get air.
What parts are needed? You do not have to get too
specific, he worries about that big box on the firewall
hitting the valve cover, the rest he might be able to
fake. Thanks

Use the A/C system from a Monza. The evaporator is inside the car, not in the engine compartment, and this leaves plenty of room for the engine. It worked for GM.

Dale, later Monza wagons came with the Buick V6.
Look at one and see if there are any differences.
I
thought my 78 Monza manual had pics of all three heater
boxes but it only shows the V-8 and 4 banger.Any one
have the Vega/Monza GM manual I belive it shows all
three.

Randy
