If I am not mistaken, the pic of the red skyhawk
in the club photos has an Astroroof on it?


Is that a member's car? Anyone know where it is? or
is it just a publicity photo from GM?

Joe, it was a publicity photo from the GM
archives taken by "Neill Bruce Photographic" in 1976. This
particular photo was used for what appears to be an index
card file of American cars, and this particular index
card featured this photo of a red, 1977 Buick Skyhawk
with the C06 Astro roof option, and rare white (w/
houndstooth insert) interior. The card was an odd-shaped
5.75" X 5.75" glossy index card outlining the '75-'80
Buick Skyhawks with a photo on the front, and the car's
engine, performance, and chassis specs on the back, to
include price, options, and a brief history fo the
car.

I loved this photo because it resembles "very
closely" the 76 Skyhawk I had w/ the Astroroof.
