I need some advice... I have never had a turbo
charged car and it seems like it needs some extra
babying....Lately it has been idling at 2500 to 3000 some times
when I come to a stop....like the choke was sticking,,
but I don't know if it has a 'choke' since it doesn't
have a regular carb....
also the 'service engine
soon' light has been coming on for a few seconds if I
let it bog at all...it has 150,000 miles on it but
has been well mantained..( i have a 4" stack of
reciepts for all the services that it has had over the
last 8 years.....)also.. when i give it some gas and
let off the gas pedal, it makes a rattling
noise.....doesn't seem to affect it, the noise is just annoying....
and I have no clue what it might be....anyother tips
would be appreciated...
Oh, I am not a novice.... I
built my own chevy engine about 15 years ago......it
was in a 68 chevelle....don't have it anymore, but
the guy who has it says it still runs....thanks..BF.

Moose, What you are heraring is most likely the
waste gate on the turbo. When youlet off the gas the
turbo freewheels and builds excess pressure, the waste
gate will open and bleed off the pressure. Non-H-body
Question.
