EGR Nevermind the intake

So can one cut EGR holes in a Felpro 1200 for V6 and expect the car to function properly?

The answer is yes, you can. I've found the best
way is to position the gasket on the head, using the
ball end of a ball peen hammer tap around the edge
port in the head this will mark the proper outline for
you and facilitate cutting the gasket to the proper
dimension. OBTW - I actually prefer the stock bathtub gasket
for the V6 engine as it keeps hot oil from splashing
or being slung back on the underside of the intake.
