I have a black (orignially grey, painted in 99) 87 Skyhawk custom. 140k
miles, but it is my car for school while I am in college. It runs fine,
has a solid aftermarket sound system, and hasn't given me many problems. I
am also in NC, how much are you looking ot spend?

I also have an 87 'Hawk and have the same issue. When I buoght the car I
noticed it and had it checked out. The code that the engine computer fed
back to me was a bad exhaust oxygen sensor. I went to have it checked and
the sensor was fine. After tracing the wiring w/ my mechanic we concluded
there was a problem in the chime box and i ahven't woried about it since.
As a side note, my fasten seat belt sign will occasionally come one for
short periods of time.

Where you can find performance parts for your Skyhawk depends on what
you are trying to do. For performance suspension you can try any of
the polyurethane fabricators, Addco may have some swaybars of
interest. If you are running a Buick V6 try Kenne-Bell, Comp Cams,
Performance Automotive Warehouse (PAW), Jegs, South Side Machine, Any
of the more reputable vendors will handle performance parts. Granted
you have to pick and choose and the parts aren't getting any cheeper
but they are out there, just look around. As a last resort try
V8monza.com. Good luck with your project.

Subject: [Buick Skyhawk owner's Club] WTB 75 Skyhawk

Hi all,

New to the board but been into Buick's for as long as I care to
remember. I'm looking for a '75 Skyhawk to purchase, I guess to
replace my first new car. I bought a '75 new in July of '75, a red
with black leather 4 speed. Man, I loved that car. Sold it in
August of '81 with 120,000 miles on it. Wish I had it back.

What I'm looking for is a nice clean '75. No junk, no rust. A 4
speed is a plus! Don't want a '76 or up, as the dash was unique to
the '75's, and I like the '75 dash.

Anybody have one they wish to sell? I'm in Ohio, so midwest is best
for me.

Thanks!

Brad

Hi Ben,

Yea, if you would, I would really like to see pictures of your car.
Please provide any info you can, color (exterior & interior),
condition of both, what transmission, options, etc. Maybe, if you
can, give me the info off the data tag. Miles on the car would be
good, too. I guess tell me all you can. You may email me at
<a href="/group/buickskyhawkownersclub/post?protectID=200185107112146031218061001036006239018">kg8s@a...</a> . I have high speed connection, so the number of
photos you send is not a problem for me. The more the better!

Thanks!

Brad
