I checked with my wholesale tire dealer today
because I wanted to get a fifth tire for the spare. They
still have 195/70R-14 tires in stock 2 but said they
were still available how many do I want the tire is
the Cooper Cobra. I have had them on my car for two
years now(white letters in because orignal was
blackwall) My price is 48.56

Hey guys. Just put the new Yokohamas (205/60VR13
AVS-I) High performance street tires on 2094 and WOW
what a difference! (Ground up flies feet!)
The only
thing better would probably be DOT street legal racing
tires (Double ground up flies feet!) The bummer is that
60 series tires in 13" are drying up! So if your
thinking of a high performance summer street tire try
http://www.discounttiredirect.com/ If they have any in stock, they seem to be a
little cheaper than I paid. But what is cost when it
come to Pleasure?
Later Craig.

Has anyone had any luck with Yokohama tires? I
have a neighbor who was in an accident with his Honda
and he has a set of Yokohama AVS Intermediate ZR 205
60 R13 tires for sale. The tires have 120 miles on
them and he will sell them to me for $150.00 for all
four. I have run Goodyear tires most of my life and do
not know much about this brand. Please let me know
any thought or comments you have on this
subject.

Thanks,

Fred

Buy them. I just put the Yokohama AVS-I VR 205 60
R13 on my car and love them. The 60 series 13" Hi
performance tires are drying up, so for $150.00 you cant go
wrong. If you decide not to buy them let me know. I can
find a good home for them.

I recently bought a Cosworth that came with
Yokohama AVI-60i 205/60R13 tires and think they have
excellent dry and wet (yea, I know, shame on me for having
it out in the rain) handling characteristics. Sounds
like a good deal to me.

Where do you live, if you do not want them, i
will buy them. These are the tires my father uses on
0803. The car is mainly used for autocrossing and going
to Round-ups. E-mail me back at buddyleejc@aol.com
if interested. I live in southeastern Michigan.

Thanks, john c.

Sears and Kelly have a 205 60 13 tire that is 22.7 inches tall - 1 inch shorter than the stock tire.

Yokohama still offers the AVS Intermediate in a
205/60VR-13, and they are only $57 each.

This is a
proven excellent summer high performance tire, which a
Cosworth Vega deserves. It has a wear rating of 160, which
says "lots of grip", and for only
$57 I wouldn't
even consider a Sears or Kelly.

Denis,

Any of these in Canada?

I find everything I
want in the US, but I haven't got too much luck on
this side of the border.

What are the biggest tire that will go on the stck rim...I have 175/70-13 on the car now they seem a little skinny. The factory spare says BR70-13.
