Gas Tank

The tank is quite easy. but there are a few
items. First, make sure the car is high enough(but safe)
to remove the tank completely. Second, wire wheel
the mounting studs to remove any rust or undercoat.
Then spray studs with wd-40 to remove. Third, Be
careful.

Al, I'd say wait till you see it, if you're as lucky as I was, the inside of my tank was as good as new.

I removed the sending unit, I
could see real well inside.

>Also how long

I've owned it only one
year, so I wouldn't know if it even sat at all, I
bought it at an auction.

Gas Tank

Thanks to those who got back to me with the gas tanks, right now a
little bit out of my price range.

Just wondering, is it possible to put a standard Vega gas tank on. I
don't have fuel injection anymore, I have twin dual webers.

Thanks
Shooter

Yes, you can use a Vega gas tank in a Cosworth Vega. It just doesn't
have the baffle around the fuel pump. Chris
