All right, I drive #1002 daily. It has a Hutton rebuilt motor,
sleeved block, higher compression etc., and 42mm Webers. Is it still
a CV? It is not stock.. Also, it has a five speed with a 3.73 posi
rear end, this combo was never available in 75', Is it still a CV? I
think some of us are taking ourselves too seriously. Hey, it's a
car, do with it as you please, enjoy it. What about Kiva75's car, a
GT with all Cosworth parts, is it still a Cosworth? How about 3136,
the racecar my dad bought. The engine is 2.3L with Webers, and about
nothing else on it that came from a Cosworth. Is it still a CV? If
it has a Cosworth motor, does it not become a Cosworth, and vice
versa, if it has a Cosworth Vega VIN, does it not become a Cosworth.
Personally, I like the guys who buy up Cosworths and put V8's in
them. I have gotten three Cosworth Vega motors, and transmissions,
etc. for real cheap, less than $300.00 each. One of them still has
the Cosworth stripes on his V-8 Cosworth Vega. I'm confused, I need
an aspirin and a nap. LOL :)
My Two Cents,
