If you would like to decode the VIN and cross check it with the body
tag go to our website http://www.cosworthvega.com and select Cosworth
Twin Cam from the left menu, then Cosworth Options at the top menu
bar.

Jerry,
Great website, at least I know that the car was a cosworth. Too bad
there isn't a place where the put the dash # such as under the FI
unit.
I will cross check the body number. It just seems like a lot of work
to do only to put the car to auction, but then again I have never
claimed to be a CV expert.
The CV I drive now has a different engine that was replaced after a
few years, so I am not certain of these matching numbers. If your
planning to use the car everyday All these matching numbers seem to
be of less value. Again I can be wrong on this issue but if the car
looks and runs well, I would perfer that driving to work everyday.
If anyone lives nearby I would appreciate a test drive and opinion.
Thanks for everyones help and advice.
Rick
