I am assembling the parts to put the 1 1/16 dia front
sway bar on my 75 CV and the 7/8 dia rear bar. James
Reardon has the rear bar advertised on CVOA. However
the e-mail address doesn't work. Jim, is your number
correct in the CV address book? Also is there anyone
out there that has the 1 1/16 front bar for sale?

The 1 1/16" front bar was on most base suspension Monzas,
so if you can find any Monzas in junkyards, you have probably
found your bar. GM never offered a 7/8" rear bar, but
they were available through the aftermarket.

The 1 1/16" front and 7/8" rear is a very effective combination,
and is the setup I have on my #2110.
It results in about 3 degrees per g roll, which is very
modest and is excellent for both the street and occasional
track workouts.

I also highly recommend that you use urethane bushings on
the front bar end links, but the OEM rubber pillow block bushings
are fine.

Combine these bars with Spax shocks, DOT legal racing tires, and a
degree or two of negative camber up front, and you've got a serious
handling car that can put most modern sports cars to shame.
