thanks guys, i've been in touch with gerry , hopefully he got my
last e.mail ? you there gerry? also my two cents on this whole how
many left is, when someone ask how many of something is left then
most of the time its so a price can be set , i really don't care how
many are left 1 or 10000 as the number of these cars was extremely
low to begin with , so if all 3508 of them were still running than
it would still be a rare car , correct! most of us have these cars
because we've all done some type of research on them and know about
what went into the production of these cars , the market will always
dictate the value of certian cars , my feeling is the cars will not
ever be worth the price of say dukes 63 split window vette (i think
thats what you have or am i wrong ) so i don't worry about what its
worth , when i tell people what i have i get laughed at . (well not
everyone) but when i tell them i have a 91 z28 with 40k on it ,its a
whole different story , and look at how many of them were prooduced
1000s of them , yet it will always be worth more , than my little
freind. as far as parts go its not really that bad , the cvoa and
ebay have helped make the hunt for parts sort of fun , and the
internet has certainly made info more accessable . i say sink as
much money into your car you what as long as you don't expect a
return on it , we are suppose to be doing this for FUN & RELAXATION,
not for profit. don't think i'll be able to make chat night tonight
so happy holidays to everyone! gary.
