Rebuilding Koni Shocks

Jim,

I had the Koni USA shop in Kentucky rebuild my Koni's. - as part of
the "lifetime warranty" They will want an original bill of sale,
and proof that the vehicle has been licensed (not a pure race car)-
like a copy of an old registration. Otherwise you can pay them, or
another shop (like Truesports) to rebuild them.

Good luck,

Kevin.

Rebuilding Koni Shocks

I had my CV Koni's rebuilt by Koni in Hebron, KY 606 586-4100. They
rebuilt the shocks under warrantee with my purchase receipt. While
working on a clutch replacement I had the torque arm off and I moved
the car. This maneuver rolled the axle and bent the piston rod of one
of the rear shocks. I sent it back for repair and it looked like a
racing type damage to them and they charged me, I believe, $97.
On another car also using Koni's I wanted special valving. I used
TrueChoice here in the Columbus area 1-800-388.8783. They specialize
in racecars and they can custom valve the shocks based on corner
weights, spring rates, etc. They have shock dynos and are an
authorized Koni rebuilder. These guys talk shocks.

JB
