Distributor grease

Does anyong know what kind of grease should be used on the upper
bushing grease well in the distributor? I have some Dielectric
Silicone Grease but I figured I better ask before doing something
stupid.

Thanks, Wendell.

Distributor grease

The TCT Portfolio has a discussion on this subject and lists a special
Delco grease that is recommended for this application and starter
motor bushings, but I don't think it's available anymore.

Lacking this I would recommend a multipurpose synthetic grease or
plain old white lithium grease at the bottom of the pile.

DO NOT use silicon dielectic grease!
