Howdy all,
Mike V. here, I live an hour East of Cleveland, OH and
was thrilled to find this list. After sifting through the archives,
I have a number of tech questions for a later date.
I do not own a CV, but I do own a CV engine that I want to
rebuild. I've owned no less than a dozen Vegas over the years,
and was fotunate enough to help my older brother with his own
Cosworth dilemma back in the mid 80's. He was not as mechanically
inclined as I was, but he sure loved his CV.
He had a 12K mile CV that was totalled when an uninsured
Bozo in a 3/4 ton pickup turned left in front of him.
I transplanted the driveline into a 77 Monza, which he drove
for 4 years and 80K miles, then sold. I've learn an awful lot about
GM computers since then, and burned many chips for them.
I hope to apply some newer EFI technology (and naturally, a turbo)
to the Cosworth Vega engine soon. The body & driveline for this
engine are still to be determined.
The archives are full of lots of interesting posts from very helpful people.
I sincerely hope to be included among them soon..
Best wishes to all,
Mike V Chardon, OH
