Hood pad shipping

Can someone give me an estimate, on when the hood pads are going to
be shipped? The check cashed, so I assume the project was a go.

Dear mrplow582001? and all CVOA Hood Pad Buyers,

Here are latest updates on the project:

1. Yes, it is a go, as stated in latest CV Magazine.

2. I was called buy manufacturer in January about concerns for the
curves at the "raised middle area". We felt it best to get the
designer an actual hood (which I personally delivered on 1/17).

3. As of today, estimates to have the production sample for us (CVOA)
to approve is later in March. After our approval, it would be expected
to take about three weeks to make the order of 250.

4. It was originally expected to have finished in late February. Extra
delay is result of time needed to make the multi-plane curves which
was not observed with the original hood pad we sent. No additional
costs are expected. So I would expect Pads in hand mid-April.

5. I like to note after visiting the manufacturer that it is no doubt
a top notch business. After seeing some of their other hood pad work
might I even dare to say, these (the Hood Pads) are going to be too
nice to install on a Vega (yes even the Cosworth)! HA HA
