Roy's Re-indexed Sprocket Motor

Roy just passed along to me some information about the performance of
our re-indexed camshaft sprockets (www.cosworthparts.com for info).
They performed well on a shakedown cruise.

Roy took a "little" 3345 mile jaunt out West in his #2393 Cosworth
Vega last month. The engine is basically stock. It has, of course,
the re-indexed cam sprockets, and 40 DCOE Weber carburetors. The
engine ran flawlessly, and most amazing of all, used only 3/4 quart
of oil for the entire trip! This is even more amazing given that he
AVERAGED 71 mph INCLUDING stops! Plainly he didn't stop for long.

For those of you who inquired, this trip demonstrates that the re-
indexed sprockets work well with Weber carbs.

Mark

Mark, I was asked how the reindexed cams would work in a 2.3 motor
what do you think?
