Good Morning all!
For the past few rides i've noticed my Volt gauge bouncing back and forth
a bit between charge and discharge. It never goes into the red and is not
fluctuating with engine RPM. The belt is tight so i know that's not the
issue. I also just replaced my battery about a month ago so i'm comfortable
that it's not the problem either. Any speculation guys? The other question
i have is about replacement parts. I know there are two replacements for
this integrated alternator/ voltage regulator, a high and a lower output.
Which is best for these low optioned no air cars? The low output? Please
share your thoughts. Thanks!

Subject: [Cosworth Vegas] Question that has not come up before...Shifter
Mounting Gromets

Hey All,

This is a question I don't think has come up before here. While in
the process of replacing the interior carpet in 3087, I found that
the rubber gromets that the three shifter mounting bolts (4 speed) go
through to hold the shifter mechanism to the floor have basically
hardened and fallen apart and thus I have no gromets and the shifter
flails around wildly. My question is: Can I use any gromet that fits
size wise or is there a specific GM gromet that I must use? I don't
have a 76 assembly manual, but I have the 75. If someone who does
have the 76 manual could look up the gromet p/n's, I would appreciate
it.

Brian
