Where are the diehard Cosworth fans?? I have decided since no one
is serious enough to buy this as a running driving car, it leaves me
no choice but to part it out and sell the parts on E-bay. If no
serious buyer contacts me by April 11, the Vega items will start
appearing on E-bay.
All I want out of this car is $2000, so after I sell enough parts
to meet this amount, the remainder of the car will go to the crusher.
Sorry I have to do this, but I can't stand having my time wasted
with people just looking.

That is a rather silly reaction I think. Why don't you just put the
whole car on eBay? Coming here to sell the car gets you a limited
audience. Most of the people here already own Cosworths. "Diehard
Cosworth fans" usually own two or three cars and are on the verge of
divorce. eBay will give you a broad area of collectors and impulse
buyers that may not know about this club. Put it on there and it will
sell. You have a rare car because it is saddle, you just need to get
a diferent sales tactic. I sold three in the last year, and you know
what? None of them sold here. Two sold on eBay. I bet you'd actually
get over the $2000 you are asking. I got easily what I was asking for
them, and had no problems with the sales process. One guy flew from
Phoenix, thrilled to death that he got #657 at such a steal ($3200).
It was a very good deal for a very nice car, and your car looks to be
nice too. The Cosworth market fluctuates a bit, activity slows, but
prices stay relativly constant. Do yourself and the rest of
the "Diehard fans" that do not know about this site a favor and spend
the time until your deadline watching the car sell on eBay. Someone
out there wants that car.

Britt

I will give you the $2000 for the car but you are sort of
geographically undesireable. I am in California and it would cost me
at least $2000 just to transport it out here. I have recently been
contacted by a guy in Texas who is looking for a saddle car. I will
check with him and see if he is interested. Later, Chris
