How Many Are Left??

There is a place,if there still around, called
'automotive information clearing house' that used to
advertise in hemmings.
I did a search in 1996 on how
many V8 monza spyder models were left existing and
they sent me a number and an explanation on how they
determined the number. I thought it was neat but a little
pricey at 16.50.
Well I was thinking...if at least
16 people here wanted to know a particular years
info..then it would be like a dollar a piece. All we would
have to do is organize, and gobs of info could be
attained. maybe we can even work out a group rate with the
company? Again ,they were known as 'AIC' Auto. info.
clearing-house.
They have no website that I have seen.
Just
some thoughts...

I forgot to mention there estimate was something
like 937 (nationally) with 32 of them being in my
state.
They tracked cars that were currently registered
or had been registered and insured within the past 2
years.
I assume they tracked 1978 cars with the U code
in there vin(305). there would have been no
indication that it would have been a spyder from its vin,so
the number must have been an estimate,or just vor V8
monza 2+2s in general.
