Picked up 80 Starfire

a couple of weeks ago.I spotted this car sitting
back in November and talked to this guys son.I asked
if it was for sale He told me I needed to talk to
his dad and he was'nt home. Asked him if it ran and
he told me it ran rough when they parked it. Went
back 3 or 4 times nobody at home. So two weeks ago I
told my wife I was going by to see if I could find
anyone at home and she said what would you give for it?
I told her I would offer $150. Well went to front
door asked the lady if car out back was for sale and
to my surrprise she said yes we want $150. Husband
said it was baught for son to fix up but lost intrest.
gave him $150 put air in tires,gas in the tank and a
new batt. started it up and drove it to my
station.Still runs rough but maybe I can figure it out.The only
problem is the title was filled out in Oct 99 and never
changed over. I'm the third owner since origanal sale.I
found out the owner on the title is in a nursing home
w/congestive heart failier.I found out he has a daughter in
town and trying to get her to file for a lost
title.Hope it works out.My wife told me if I'm going to fix
it up I have to get ride of my Vega stuff. So I have
a 76 Vega body w/V8 springs installed,4 core
rad,2129 w/2" ex behind rear tires.I have a pic of
Starfire on my profile and can email pics of Vega and
parts if interested.

Jon, Looks like a great deal for 150. looks better than the Vega, but remember that some of that Vega stuff will fit on the Olds.
