Vinny, I checked 2 books I got.

one
says:
68-79 76 cc. 150.8 cfm intake 91.1 cfm exhaust car and
corvette 200hp with 1.94 and 1.5 valves.

the other
says:
68-76 low performance cars and trucks (pretty
vague)

Heck yeah those are pretty good heads,I just
found out that most of the 99(X) heads wound up with
the 487/487X intake ports and even if they are cut
for 1.74 valves all you have to do is open them up
for 1.94's and they will runn great on street, heck
even my buddies 327 for drag racing has a set of these
heads and it turned 8000 last years and ran
great.
The 993's mostly came with 1.94 intakes and 991's
came with small valves but these rules are general not
absolute.
If you do a little pocket porting add some swirl
polished undercut valves and they will flow good up into
the mid .550's in lift but dont like much duration
over in the mid 290's to about 305 max in advertized
and only big cam I saw working with them rated in the
newer .050 rating was around 240 degrees.Kep the
centerline around 110 or higher and it will pull greatany
lower will require a lot of flow bench work and is
unproductive.
Build for torque and use .500+ lift (.525 average) and
a duration in the 225 to 235 range @.050 and center
line at 110 and it should pull real hard.
oh and
double check all your guides real good and if you have
them freshened up add some bronze guide liners
,teflon/viton seals and set of K700 kmotion springs and hit up
gm dealer for a set of lt4 350 lightweight retainers
and you will have a good setup.
