Big Block Olds or Small Block Chevy?

Smallblocks were refered to as rockets, big
blocks were super rockets. They had stickers on the air
cleaners to prove it. Also people think the term rocket
ment HIPO there not. All Olds are dubbed ROCKETS. W30,
W31, etc. are HIPO.

Yup! those old Potiacs can scream!. My wifes
hotrod is a 76 TA with a factory 455 4 speed. It has a
mild cam and headers, but can flat run! I have no
times on it yet, but it seems that the Pontiac motors
are very easy to build up. Even the smallest changes
create impressive results.

However, it still
cant beat my 350cuin Spyder!
