fuel pump problems

76 vega... 3 wires on the fule pump
(black,purple,tan) which one powers fuel pump, sending unit and what
is the other wire ?

any one know of a site
that has wiring info/diagrams ?

My wireing diagram shows Dark Blue, Black, and Tan. I'm pretty shure it goes like this: Black= Ground, Dark Blue= Power, Tan= gauge I'll post the wireing diagram in the photos, hope this helps, Joe

turns out were not gettin power at the fuse panel (pump fuse is good).... we jumped power from a different fuse and the pump ran...

Check the oil pressure switch if it's bad your fuel pump will not operate, Joe
