"GTA engines are narrower than the Buicks
because
they have different heads and manifolds to get it into
a TA."
The heads were from a FWD 3.8, and you
are correct the allowed GM to put tthat engine in the
F body platform. Have fun sounds like a cool
project.

This sounds like a sweet project. The TTA was one
of the fastest F-bodies ever produced, and your
Monza is one lucky car to get such an engine.


Ah, 2800lb car, 3.8 Turbo SFI, fat meats, I see low
10's in the near future....

Exactly...I might just get the engine and trans/harness dialed in and drive it around for a few months with the 7.5 in it.

The car scares me just thinking about it...Ahh, just right!
