I can't help but write this incomparisontothe 350
Chevy Vs. 400 Pontiac post. I have long been impressed
whe quality of machine work & balance on the 472/500
Cadillac's.

I installed a 500 in place of a 472 in a friend's
Coupe DeVille once with a mild cam. I put a shift kitin
the TH400 and added springs/sway bars from a
full-size Pontiac police car.

That big barge would
really fly and the handling was nuch improved...Robert
