Hi, this is a new member. It sounds like you
have
found a source for production numbers. I have looked
online at GM and all different places, I even wrote to
Muscle Car Review. Which,by the way
were a bunch of
jerks. They acted like they were going out of their way
for a car that wasn't even a muscle car. A 2800 lb.
car with a 350 and it's not a muscle car, figure that
one out. Anyway, I was wondering if you could tell me
how many Monzas were made in Cal. with the 350. Mine
also
has auto,AC,PS,PB,wood grain dash (cheesy)

Thanks for any help, John

Hi John
I don't have info that detailed,
sorry. My info came from a book about cars of the '70's
and it had some listings for production of these
cars, but the breakdown wasn't anymore than the engine
options. All I have were those engine-type numbers and the
car price for the 3 base models offered that year.
Monza 'S' - $3570, Towne Coupe - $3648 and the 2+2
hatch - $3953.
And no, the woodgrain isn't cheesy
(in my humble opinion, didn't like it at first either
but it kind of grew on me), I'm renewing the interior
of my 80 Spyder and it will be woodgrain.
Marco
(Monzabudd) may have better info on this than me, try asking
him. Good
Luck.
Bryan
