I was telling my son about the nitrous explosion
today, and he told me his NOS bottle is supposed to
bleed off somewhere around 1275/1300 PSI. When he went
to Beech Bend raceway over the Labor day weekend, he
said the heat from the sun caused the pressure in his
bottle to get so high the solenoids wouldn't open. He
pulled the bottle out and ran cold water on it to cool
it down. When he checked the pressure on his gage,
it pegged the needle. His gage goes to 1500, and he
said the pin that the needle was up against was
somewhere around 1800? He is writing to NOS and asking "waz
up wid dis?"

I thought that the pressure
relief valve is supposed to do just that.

I wish I would have known that they were so rare,
because I pasted one out a few months ago that was in
really gooood shape. The guy bought it new and was
selling it for 1000. I remember why I didn't buy it it
had some noise in the bottom end and I wanted some to
drive back and forth to work for when I start taring
down the vega for resto. Darn I'm upset know. Well
maybe I can still get it if he still has it Ill have to
ck. Sean

Contact Joey (jed140)
about this. As I recall, he has a set of N.O.S. Chevy
emblems (front & back) for sale.

The original "gone in 60 seconds" was shot where
I grew up...watched it for the first time about a
year ago and flipped! there is a scene where the guy
jumps a couple of cars while going down a hill, I went
up that hill everyday!
it was shot in all parts
of the south bay
Torrance, long beach, redondo
beach, carson...cool stuff.

Robert,

I used the F-body exhaust
manifolds on my Tuneport, I had to grind a bit off the left
side to clear the steering. The F-body headers would
never clear without some heavy modifications.

I tried s-10 conversion headers w/ stock mounts. the passengers side would work but the drivers hits the fendewell and the master cyl.

would be funny if you ran a red light in your
rice burner and i was coming the other way in my
crewcab F350 powerstroke,6000lbs of rolling thunder would
absolutley punt your ass thru the uprights.instead of your
pants hanging down to your knees while you listen to
your urban boom
"music" (that i can hear 2 miles
away) your nappy drawers would be hangin out the
passenger side window.just my 2
