you'll need to cut away from the front of the pan
somewhat to clear the steering.... you can buy the Moroso
or Milodon aftermarket 6-7 quart pans, or go with a
stock V8 Monza pan... if you're racing, I'd go with the
Milodon... the Moroso needs some minor "tuning" to get it to
fit...

P.S. If you need a stock V8
Monza oil pan, I "may" still have one for sale... let
me know if you're interested and I'll check the
garage....

The moroso won`t fit the 400 block
(it`s
written in their catalog)
the milodon oil pan will fit
the 400
but only whit stock style rods
(5.7
rods from a 350 should be ok)

The stock monza
v-8 pan should
fit on your 400 whit stock
rods
but it may need a bit of hammering
in some area to
clear rods

Milodon makes a pan for the v8 vega/monza swap that works with a 400 sbc
