s10 frame

I might still be doing it but it's on the back burner. I found a Monza shell in good condition and will transfer my parts to it. When that's on the road I'll start fixing my Spyder and either s10 frame or full tube frame. the reason i was going to do the s10 swap was time and money, or lack of it.

i posted the pics for gsjimmy on v8monza he used the complete s-10 frame it took alot of the floor out of the car
we lost the pics when the ftp quit working on v8monza

but if you use just the front section it would not take much of the floor out

its possable but is it really worth all the fabrication i understand the purchase price thing i'm a cheap bastard myself but i think it would cost more in the long run i would find a donor car and pull the peices you need out

or use a front frame section from jegs or the like

on my sub frame connectors the rear control arm mouts were still in perfect shape no rust and not torn up as it still had the stock engine in it so i just built tabs up on each side of the mounts and welded them in to keep the mounting hole in the right place

I'd like to see those pics although I don't think I'll be doing that project now. The Spyder that has the badly rotted floor and frame areas is going to be a parts car for the other Hbody hatch I have (75 Skyhawk). I also just bought another Monza and Skyhawk to build one out of them. If I wanted to build a third car I could but I'd need a whole front end and just about a complete interior. I could get a one piece front end and build a drag car though. I'll cross that bridge when I get there. I pop in at V8Monza from time to time (not a member). I think gsjimmy was selling that vega/s-10 project.
