roll cage help

im looking to get a 10 pt roll cage for my 76 vega hatch. where can i find one for a reasonable price?

HOw big of a hurry are you to get one?

Ive got an 8pt cage for my car that im still debating on whether I want to use it or just the frame connectors.

im in no big hurry. thanks 4 the offer but i think i wanna go with the 10 pt cage. also are u guys using subframe connectors with the cage?

How fast do you plan on going?Per NHRA rules,an 8 point is good to 10.00's on a unibody car with stock firewall and floor pan to the rear of the front seats.

My car has a 6 point Comp engineering,i left out 2 points to still use the rear seat.It fit rather nice,and i do not use subframe connectors(Just because i didn't want to cut up my floor pans).

ill be running in the 10's. i know i dont need a 10 pt to run that time but i was in a bad car accident few years ago so i just want it for my own piece of mind

I understand that,do your self a favor and add rocker bars and swing outs.It'll make life much easier.

I'm guessing that they run right along the edge of the floor... right above the rockers.
75 Pontiac Astre GT: 406SBC/TH350, roll bar, S10 goodies, down to 11.47 so far, more to come later.

If you've got a welder maybe you could make your own bender. Just something to think about. Here's a place that sells componants to make one. You've got to build a couple parts yourself in order to keep in on the cheap but for less than $300 you could have a nice mandrel bender and make your own roll cage.
