Installing front subframe

Postby bill1978v8 » Sun Nov 18, 2007 11:57 pm

How hard is it to install a front subframe? I know there is a lot of measuring, cutting and welding. I was thinking of using the Art morrision front subframe. Any advice?

buy the DOORSLAMMERS HANDBOOK and get the video from art morrison , if you if your fab skills are limited it will be a bit of a challenge , but it can be done just don,t rush it and measure three times and cut and fully weld once . you will need a fairly flat area and you should be able to clearly see chalk lines on the floor you will measure and snap for reference points to measure from as you install the front clip , CHASSISWORKS also has a some good pictures and information on installing a clip on their site and catalog , it may look different but the process is the same .
