Has anyone made their own motor plate? Do you have pics? I have trans-dapt mounts now but would like to switch for drag racing.

This is a Competition engineering plate (modified for steering box).
Just welded two mounting tabs (with braces) and bolted it in (see second pic with motor out).

Those are the stock front rails.

The two bars you see coming out are the S&W 10pt to 12pt conversion kit. it comes with the two front bars and two drop down supports.

The upper control arm mounts/inner fenderwells are stock, but were cut to fit and weld to the front bars.

Hope his info helps!

Every bit helps..Nice ride by the way..Got a lot of good ideas one question . I've seen on alot of vegs with a crossmember under the motor linking the LCAs ..whats the deal ? Iguess it would be to strengthen the front. Right

Brian, Are you saying yours does not have a crossmember there? Are you driving this car? You gotta have some version of something across there or you will never keep the tires close to the right place. Lorne

Nope there is nothing there .. where can i get one? Wouldn't the motor mounts hold the bottem together once the motor is installed. I've seen them without the crossmember and they drive and race..

The cross member and front brace bars are the stock, bolt in ones.
