Has anyone fabricated there own radiator support for a 72 vega? just wondering, if so pics will help, thanks

I haven't built one from scratch, but I did modify the stock support to fit a larger radiator and to move it forward to clear the water pump and electric fan. This was the only pic I could find of it though.

Do those frame tubes hook up to a cage?

Yes, they run from the cage, tie into the control arm towers and down to the front frame.
