I have a 75 Vega Cosworth im turning into a Drag car, I have some early model chevelle 5 lug disc spindles im debating on converting the A-Arms to fit does anyone here have any experience with this instead of S-10 spindles?

I went with the chevelle spindles. I used chevelle ball joints the top is easy to just enlarge using a dremel grinder while the lower i had to cut and use a ball joint sleeve from UB Machine. Im very pleased with how it all went together.

Im sure its alot more trouble than using S-10 parts though....

Wow. Actually, the A-body spindle swap you described is very similar to the S-10 spindle swap if one uses S-10 ball joints instead of stock H-body ball joints (with the Bob Gumm adapters). What year Chevelle?

I plan on using the same setup but swap the steering arms side to side so that instead of curving in they curve out.

They were of a 1970 Chevelle, I havent looked at the drive links yet but since they can be removed and replaced if the stocks dont work or cant be modified to work ill make new ones. Should know in a day or too.

Got the spindles installed with new springs which was not fun on this car last night ill look at the drive links tommorrow.
