Unidentfied Monza racecar
Posted: Sat Aug 27, 2011 7:19 pmWondering if anyone might have any knowledge about this Monza chassis or recognize the framework? I'm hoping to discover who the original builder was. It is obviously an IMSA GT or SCCA Trans-Am road race car.
It was purchased within the US and is now located in Mexico. Current owner says it once belonged to Juan Cantu, a famous Mexican driver who won many races with it in Mexico. Cantu originally bought it from previous owner in US years ago and took it back to race in Mexico.
If anyone has any knowledge, clues, or knows someone with as much, I would appreciate it.
