Vega stock front end 2 round tube chassis [Advice?]

Postby dswalker » Wed Oct 24, 2012 4:21 pm

I have a '74 hatchback vega. Ladder bar in the rear with a stock front frame. The car has a 12-point roll cage in already. I'm on this site because I am looking to install a round-tube front clip. If you have advice or photos I'd appriciate your input.
-I have heard the strut front end is better suited for a vega, Is this true?
-Which is the best manufacturer to make the purchase? S&W Race Cars, Jegs, and Chris Alston Chassisworks are a few i've been suggested.
Any help is appriciated. Thanks :th:

any of the companies you mentioned make a good product. i am partial to ART, chassis engineering or quartermax(rick jones) alston is nice but a little spendy and over engineered IMHO. jegs sell a front end that is supposed to be a replacement to the factory front but it is still A-arm type (although i can sell you tubular arms for it..lol)
