Control arm mounting brackets

Would anyone be interested in 3/16"s control arm brackets w/ multiple mounting holes? I'm definitely making them for my own build, just curious if there's any demand to have more made. I'm talking uppers and lowers for the body side, and for the rearend mounts. The rear uppers would have the stock mounting hole, one moved up 3", and have the stock shock mount. Any input on ideas would be appreciated.

I might, can you do them in 1/4" ? mine are 3/16" buy I have seen some in 1/4", also what size axle tube ? some 9 inch tubes are 3 1/4". how are you going to cut them out ?

I could do 1/4", and im thinking of getting a local company to do them with a waterjet if I can get enough demand to share the cost. Not trying to make a profit, just cover cost and shipping. I would think a 3" tube would be the best route and make adjustments from there to keep the cost down of making several bracket with different radius's. I don't know why I said 3\16"s, most 4 link brackets i've used have been 1/4", been a long week.

1 1/2" radius for a 3" axle tube would be fine
1/4" thick waterjetted
uppers with 2" and 3" raised holes
lowers maybe with 1" and 2" lowered holes
maybe coil spring pads

let me know the price range for what ever you get made up

Smiley you prefer the stock spring perches or ones to accommodate the smaller coil over springs?

I have the stock type coils.
I have an Idea for the upper control arm axle brackets, it will allow them to swivel for an exact fit then be welded solid.

Personally I think the upper bracket lacks enough area when it comes to being attached to the axle tube for high power cars.

I would agree, but they were designed for a 4 cylinder. The stock spider gears were the first thing to go with a 350, 4 speed and bolt on traction bars in my 72 Vega. After trashing 2 stock Vega rearends, I put in a 12 bolt and ladder bars- problem solved. Some people ripped the underbody brackets off the floor with the stock 4 link suspension.

I know this is an older post, but. I would be interested in rear housing brackets.
let us know if you decide to build some.

I planned on using a 12 bolt from a tube chassis wagon project I have, but it ended up being too narrow for the stock suspension setup I want. So i'm using a 2wd s10 8.5 that I got for 75 bucks from the local scrapyard. I'll update it later with good axles, 9" ends, lightweight brakes, and a spool. I've got the stock rearend out now, so I can get some patterns drawn up for these brackets soon I hope.
