Subframe connectors...

I had a question about your subframe connectors
too, since we've got your attention. I like the added
rigidity of the thruogh-the-floor connectors. My question
may seem kind of silly, but here goes anyway. What do
you do about carpet with these things. I know, I
know, "its up the builder" or "who needs carpet?"
you're all saying. I'm sure i'll come up with something
on my own (i'm sure alot of the cars using these
never see carpet again). I just wanted to know what
anyone who's used these has done if, and when, you
reinstalled the carpet.
thanks
clem

Hey Clem,
Sorry it took so long for me to get
back to you. I just installed the carpet over them for
the time being. I am thinking about either cutting 2
slits alongside the rails and letting the carpet fall
around the frame rails, or mabeye adding something on
the outside of the rails to hold the carpet up and
then letting the carpet follow the edge of the rail on
the inside. Let me know if you have a better idea.
Right now, I just have the carpet sitting over the
frame rails.

Let me know if you have any other
questions.
-Wade
