Will a V6 (231) fit easily where a 4-cylinder used to be?
Thanks

It's almost a bolt in process. I'm having a 231
with a TH-350 automatic dropped into my 74 Vega wagon
in a little while.
I was told:
to get V-6
frame and engine mounts
to get a V-6
radiator
Grind off the existing 4 cyl frame mount plates.
1
bolt hole will line up on one side and 2 bolt holes
will line up on the other side. Drill a few more holes
and bolt it all in.
I was also told that I would
probably have to spin my heater core around so the hoses
don't hit the engine. Fairly simple but I'm letting a
pro do it for me.
just my 2 cents
Doug

With surprising ease, Especially if you have a 73 or above car.
