i know where you can get a custom made fibreglass cowl hod if you want one.
there's a guy just outside of toronto that makes them. he made me a real nice
6" cowl induction hood for my monza.

ibmaverick - where are you located, I am in MI
(detroit area) I have an original exhaust main pipe
for the 140ci 4 cyl. This pipe is from exhaust
manifold to catalitic converter. This piece is a
double thick guage metal and has stood up very well
over time. Let me know if you need this.
I am not sure how much shipping would be, or even how
to pack and ship, but I have a complete powder blue
dash board, pad, guages etc (not idiot lights) with
the woodgrain bezel around guages. Have speedo and
tach, water temp, volts etc guages. This was from a
V6 car. The guage assembly is still attached to the
plastic housing which has the opening for the stereo
etc. This is uncut and not cracked. I am not sure
what this would be worth and was considering putting
it on ebay, but wasn't sure whether to put it on as a
complete assembly, or seperate the dash pad from the
guages etc.
Let me know if there is anyone in or near MI (Detroit)
that is interested in this, and possibly how much
they'd like to spend, and we can possibly avoid ebay.
Everything (guages) works, the only problem with the
entire setup, is that the speedo needle is broken
about 1 cm from the center of the rotating piece. any
other needle should replace it fine.

Rod,

What I am looking for is fusebox forward for a V8 with AC and dashboard
harness to fusebox for a full gauge package.

The car you should know... You sold it to me! It is the wite 80 spyder.

So far I have rebuilt the carb, replaced the vacuum advance and set the
timiing. I have also replaced the wheels with a set of 10 hole aluminums
that I had on the shelf. I repainted the black trim and the girl is shaping
up quite nice.

Thanks,

Bill

Subject: [HBOA Classified] Re: 77 Town Coupe, need parts

Chris,

When/if you find a 2.29 rear end and you want to get rid of the 3.73
posi rear, I would be very interested in it. I really don't want a
2.56 geared rearend in my vega. If you decide to get rid of it e-
mail me at vega_guy@ hotmail.com

Charlie

PS: If you can't find a 2.29, just remember that I do have two 2.56
geared rearends one posi, the other is not, both are 5 on 4-3/4 bolt
pattern.
