On the subject of alignments

A friend of mine in KC had this fix done to his

Spyder. He said the alignment guy used a come-along ( or
a similar device ) to pull the spring towers
together where the k-member bolts up.
Of course he
loosened the bolts, got the tweak
he wanted,
re-tightened the bolts and then spot-welded the joint. This
was several years ago.
No alignment problems after
that. He now has a set of my S-10 adaptor bushings and
is changing to 5-lugs and ugrading to a 350 from the
tired old
262. By the way, he bought the Monza off
the showroom floor!!
Hope this
helps..........ROGER
