What engine did the car come with?
I did
this swap with my 4 cylinder Monza (with TH200) to a
V8 with TH350. First, as Denis said, you can't swap
the tailhousing because it's not a separate piece on
the TH200.
If you have an F-body TH350, the
torque arm bracket will have a wavy-looking rubber
sandwich, which works with 4-cylinder Monza torque arms.
The 8-cylinder Monza torque arm uses a round
bushing
that is different and uses a different
bracket.
Unfortunately you can't "just" use a 4-cyl torque arm--you'll
have to shorten it 3.5 inches.
If your TH350
has no torque arm mount, another option is B&M's kit
that allows mounting a TH350 in an F-body. This is
what I have. Unfortunately this just puts you back in
the above situation--the mount is the wrong kind for
the V8 torque arm. I just kept my 4-cyl torque arm
and shortened it.
I know there's got to be a
better way to do this, but I just wanted to relay my
experiences.
