Hbody restoration

My door hinges are welded to the body and to the
door. Not exactly sure how they aligned them but from
what I under stand from at least one body man is that
the way to make minor adjustments is to place a large
piece of wood under the door along with a hydralic jack
and gently "adjust" the door hinges. Seems a little
crude but it does work, especially considering that
there is no adjustment on the welded hinges. Clyde
