Front lower A-arms-spring depth?

I know the Monza spring pocket is deeper than the
original Vega spring pocket on the lower A-arms, but Tom
(theAstre) Lippert told me that it is deeper on ALL the '75
and later H-bodies. Can anyone confirm this? I'm
using lower A-arms off a '78 Sunbird wagon-- are they
deep enough that I won't have to cut my V-8 springs?

I personally Thought that you could only use v-8 springs on v-8 control arms. I think that the v-8 pockets are the only ones that are deeper. It made Cents to me..

One thing i know for sure
all monza clones
(sunbird,skyhawk,starfire)
used the deep spring pocket

My 3 v-6 cars
had the dep pockets on them
My guess is GM simply
made a taller spring
when they made v-8 cars in
1975
One thing i`m not sure is if the arms are off
a
vega
