clem, have a set on the don hardy mounts in my
vega and they set the motor and every thing in the
same place that front factory monza mounts do.my car
had a v-8 in it that was set up with the monza
mounts, they mount to the side of the engine compartment,
and i used the same crossmember location and same
crossmember to trans rubber mount that was in the car before
i got it and changed over to hardy motor mounts and
everything else fell right into place just as if i had monza
style mounts still. the hardy mounts DO NOT mount to
the car in the same place that factory monza mounts
do , they mount to the spot where stock VEGA motor
mounts did. i have the price sheet from hardy , but it
doesn't show a seperate price for just the mounts, it
shows the motor mounts and the cross member and prices
them together at $143.52. But i asked about a seperate
price for a cross member( it seems like it might be
better and stronger than stock)even though stock works
with their mounts and they quoted it to me for $47.54,
maybe due to my recent purchase of their headers, they
were $268. don't see the motor mounts being a $100
item. good luck, mark aka vswv8

I have a set of Doug Thorley motor mount stands.
They use a Chevy truck mount ala Don Hardy. I just
have the frame stands. They bolt to the stock Vega
location. $50 includes shipping. Email me if
interested.
