How strong is the S-10 rear end?

I just installed an 85 S-10 4x4 rear end in my 73
vega wagon.Im planning on a 300-350 horse SBC with a
turbo 400(2000-2500 stall conv)And the stock s10
gears(3;73 I believe).Will the rear end live if I go drag
racing?Id run 26-28 inch Mickey sportsman pro street tires
on 7 inch Cragers.What do you guys think?Thanks!Bill
